Given Manhattan College’s location and its designation as an open campus, access to the grounds will be limited during the early stages of our community’s return. Visitor and guest policies in the Employeeand Student Handbooks will be subject to updates to address matters such as security checkpoints and required use of visible identification badges.
Reflecting Manhattan’s Lasallian values, it is expected that all members of the College community are respectful of others’ health concerns and exhibit proper social distancing, PPE use and care when interacting in the community surrounding campus. The local neighborhood is home to vulnerable populations that may be disproportionately impacted by the virus and/or may have limited access to healthcare.
Buildings and Facilities
In order to preserve health and safety on the Manhattan campus, the College will implement enhanced signage, cleaning and disinfecting protocols per CDC guidelines, and facilities will be well-stocked with hand-washing and cleaning supplies.
