The data provided is program-specific information concerning candidate performance on the New York State Teacher and Leader Certification Examinations between September 1 and August 31 of a particular reporting year. To ensure the confidentiality of personally identifiable information, results for examinations taken by fewer than 10 people have been suppressed if a 100% pass rate was not attained. The report includes passage rates for the Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA), Academic Literacy Skills Test (ALST), Educating All Students (EAS) exam, Content Specialty Exam (CST) and School Building Leadership (SBL) exam. Data for the edTPA is displayed by content area, including childhood, secondary and physical education. The “Percent Passed” column shows the percentage of test takers who passed the examination during the reporting period out of the total number of test takers listed in the “Number Tested” column. This is the most recent graduating class for which the required six years of information is available. The report provides information about student-athletes who received athletics aid in one or more of seven sports categories: men’s basketball, baseball, men’s track/cross country, men’s other sports and mixed sports, women’s basketball, women’s track/cross country and other women’s sports. In accordance with federal regulation, 34 CFR § 668.43, Manhattan University publishes state-by-state determinations indicating whether completion of a licensure program: - Meets the educational requirements for licensure; - Does not meet the educational requirements; or - Has not been determined to meet the educational requirements. These determinations address **educational requirements only**. Professional licensure requirements vary by state and may include additional conditions beyond education, such as examinations, supervised experience, background checks, application processes or fees. If a program does not meet, or has not been determined to meet, the educational requirements for licensure in a student’s state of residence, the University will provide direct written disclosure prior to enrollment or continuation in the program. SARA governs the interstate delivery of distance education and certain out-of-state supervised field experiences. It does not apply to instruction delivered entirely in person in New York State. SARA authorization is based on a student’s physical location at the time distance education instruction is delivered. Students who are physically located outside New York State when instruction is delivered and who wish to file a consumer-protection complaint must first use the University’s internal complaint procedures. If a complaint related to distance education delivered under SARA is not resolved internally, the student may appeal the decision to the New York State Education Department within two years of the incident giving rise to the complaint. SARA policies do not apply to complaints related to grades, academic integrity determinations or student conduct violations. The University also submitted an intent-to-comply memo to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs regarding Executive Order 13607. The Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding and the accompanying Principles of Excellence encourage and require the University to: 1.
