## Important Dates

See below for important dates throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

### Fall Break

- **Monday, October 12, 2026:** Residence halls remain **open**.

### Thanksgiving Break

- **November 25, 2026 - November 27, 2026:** Residence halls remain **open**. Students will be required to complete a form via their MyMU portal to register to stay. There is **no fee**; however, please note that dining services will be closed.

### Fall Finals Week Guest Policy & Quiet Hours

- **No overnight guests** starting Tuesday, December 8, 2026 through Monday, December 14, 2026.
- **24-hour quiet hours** begin Tuesday, December 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. and continue until Monday, December 14, 2026.

### Residence Hall Closing for Winter Break 2026

- **Wednesday, December 16, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.**

### Residence Hall Opening for Spring 2027

- **Sunday, January 17, 2027 at 10:00 a.m.**

### Spring Break 2027

- Residence Halls close on Saturday, March 20, 2027 at 10:00 am and will reopen on Monday, March 29, 2027 at 10:00 am. Students who wish to stay over spring break will incur a fee and will need to complete a form on their MyMU portal

### Spring Finals Week Guest Policy & Quiet Hours

- **No overnight guests** starting Tuesday, May 4, 2027 through Thursday, May 14, 2027.
- **24-hour quiet hours** begin Tuesday, May 4, 2027 at 5:00 p.m. and continue until Thursday, May 14, 2027.

### Residence Hall Closing for Spring 2027

- For **all non-graduating students**, the residence halls close promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2027.
- For **students participating in commencement**, the residence halls close promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2027.

*Due to a quick turnover to our summer programs, we are unable to accommodate late departures. Please plan travel arrangements accordingly.*
