# Withdrawal from a Course Instructions and Information

## Withdrawal from a Course

Students may officially withdraw from one or more courses if they meet both of the following conditions:

1. The course withdrawal deadline has not passed. Review the [Academic Calendar](/offices/registrar/academic-calendar "Academic Calendar") for the applicable withdrawal deadline.
2. At least one course will remain on the student's schedule after the withdrawal. Students cannot withdraw from all courses through this process.

If you are trying to withdraw from your entire schedule, or from the only course remaining on your schedule, Banner will not allow you to complete the withdrawal online. Students requesting a full withdrawal from the University must complete the **Complete Withdrawal** process and submit the required documentation to their academic advisor for processing.
