In accordance with federal regulation 34 CFR §668.43, institutions must disclose whether completion of a program meets the educational requirements for professional licensure in each U.S. state or territory. Licensure requirements are established by individual states and territories and may change over time. Determinations below address educational requirements only and do not include other state requirements such as examinations, supervised experience, background checks or residency requirements. If a program does not meet, or has not been determined to meet, the educational requirements for licensure in a student’s state of residence, Manhattan University will provide direct written disclosure prior to enrollment or continuation in the program. ## Licensure Programs **Last reviewed March 2026** ### Education Programs - Childhood Education, Grades 1-6 - Adolescence Education, Grades 7-12 - Students with Disabilities, Grades 1-6 - Students with Disabilities, Grades 7-12 **Every state for which licensure requirements are met by the program’s curriculum:** As of March 2022, the following states and jurisdictions have signed the NASDTEC Interstate Agreement, which makes it possible for an educator who completed an approved program and/or who holds a certificate or license in one jurisdiction to earn a certificate or license in another state or jurisdiction: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. Completion of the program plus passing the ARRT Radiation Therapy exam satisfies the educational requirements for state licensure in most states.
