It will be housed in the Kinesiology Department led by Dr. Shawn Ladda. It will be housed in the [Kinesiology Department](/academics/schools-and-departments/kakos/kinesiology/index) led by [Dr. Shawn Ladda](//Campus%20Directory/shawn-ladda). The new major will have a broad focus, introducing students to scientific foundations, including public health, and can readily serve as a springboard for post-graduate work in areas such as Nursing, Physician’s Assistant (PA), Podiatry, and Chiropractic studies.
