Manhattan College ranks among the top 100 colleges in the United States on Forbes’ list of Best Value Colleges 2016: The 300 Schools Worth the Investment.
Manhattan College places seventh among all Catholic colleges and universities across the country, and is among the top 50 schools in the Northeast region. The College jumped more than 100 places from its previous rank of 198 in the nation to place 97th in the 2016 survey.
“We’re proud of our long history of preparing students for success in whatever they choose to do, combining a liberal arts foundation with strong professional preparation,” says President Brennan O’Donnell. “It continues to be gratifying to receive national recognition of the value of the Manhattan College experience.”
The Forbes list incorporates data from multiple sources, including the Brookings Institution and PayScale. Tuition costs, school quality, graduation success rates and post-grad earnings are among the data points considered when Forbes completes its ranking system.
In 2015, Brookings ranked Manhattan College ninth in the country for value-added education and PayScale ranked Manhattan 18th among private schools in the nation for offering bachelor’s degrees with value.
