Rooted in the Gospel, Catholic Social Teaching, and our Lasallian mission, Campus Ministry invites all students, practicing or questioning, to engage heart and mind in spiritual growth. Lasallian Catholic Roots Our inclusive community is grounded in the Gospel, Catholic Social Teaching, and the Lasallian mission that has shaped Manhattan University since its founding. Dedicated University Chaplains Two co-directors and University chaplains accompany students, faculty, and staff, learning about and assisting in the spiritual needs of the entire campus community. Space for Honest Questions Practicing or questioning, every student is encouraged to explore faith openly, wherever they may be on their journey, with no pressure or prerequisites. Spiritual Growth, Heart and Mind Students engage heart and mind together, deepening their relationship with God, self, and others through quiet reflection, prayer, retreats, and honest, open conversation. Faith Connected to Service Campus Ministry works hand in hand with Social Action, putting Catholic Social Teaching into practice through meaningful service to neighbors near and far.
