Love your mind and your body! The Health & Wellness Common Interest Community (CIC) focuses on exploring all areas of the wellness wheel in order to attain a balance of mind, body, and spiritual wellness socially, academically and professionally. Students work to cultivate and maintain a healthy lifestyle as it applies to self, spirituality and community. They become more aware of their strengths and challenges in the dimensions of wellness such as fitness and physical health, community wellness, emotional wellness, and mental wellbeing.
This community is substance-free and the residents living in this area sign a pledge to keep alcohol, drugs and other substances out of their living space.
Classes by fitness instructors, personal trainers, and nutritionists
Trips to a trampoline park, a yoga studio, and outdoor gyms
Opportunities for collaboration with faculty and administration from the Fitness Center, Kinesiology Department, Counseling & Health Services
