Alpha Upsilon Pi

Alpha Upsilon Pi's Beta Chapter was established at Manhattan College in 1984 and has been an active sorority on campus ever since. The sisters of Alpha Upsilon Pi (AYPi) come from a wide variety of backgrounds and have a diverse array of majors from engineering to education.

AYPi organizes major events focused on supporting the American Cancer Society, including Relay for Life and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. In addition to events focused on philanthropy, AYPi also hosts social events and weekly meetings focused on developing community and friendship among the sisters.

How to Join

Any female Manhattan College student is welcome to rush AYPi. Rush events are held during the first few weeks of each fall and spring semester. Once rush events are over and the new pledge class is selected, AYPi events are generally for sisters only unless otherwise advertised.
