# Corportate & Foundation | Giving to Manhattan University

## Corporate & Foundation Giving

**Manhattan's corporate partners work with us to change lives.**

Manhattan University partners with companies and foundations that share our Lasallian values of quality education, inclusive community, respect, concern for the poor and social justice, and faith in the presence of God. Our curriculum is built on a strong liberal arts foundation that prepares students to become the next generation of leaders in engineering, business and education.

Our Lasallian Catholic heritage, extensive curricula and New York City location enable us to build unique relationships that support our partners' missions and philanthropic interests while providing students with valuable personal and professional experiences. Whether you are interested in engaging with our students or faculty, building your brand, educating your workforce or supporting your community, please contact University Advancement, at (718) 862-7548 or <giving@manhattan.edu>.

### Resources for Faculty and Administrators

Faculty members and administrators interested in applying for grants from corporations and private foundations should work with the Office of Institutional Giving & Special Programs. Additional resources are available through the Private Grant Resources for Faculty and Administrators page.

Campus Facilities

An investment in our facilities equips students with the academic resources they need to compete and innovate in a technology-driven world. The [George I. Alden Trust](http://www.aldentrust.org/) awarded Manhattan University a $190,000 grant to support the development of laboratories in the Patricia and Cornelius J. Higgins ’62 Engineering and Science Center.

Student Scholarships

You can help make a Manhattan University education accessible to more students. Con Edison established the Con Edison Endowed Scholarship for undergraduate students who major in a STEM field. All of the scholarship recipients receive financial aid and participate in a professional workshop organized by Con Edison.

Academic Programs

There are several opportunities within our six schools to enrich and test the knowledge and skills of our students both in and out of the classroom. Our O’Malley School of Business engages companies like Microsoft and Salesforce in our Business Analytics Competition - a two day conference that attracts colleges and universities from around the world and gives students the opportunity to draw solutions for business problems by analyzing real industry data sets.

Faculty Development & Research

Our faculty are the heart of our institution, and they are at the forefront of delivering on our mission of excellence in teaching and quality education. The [Gladys Krieble Delmas Foundation](http://delmas.org/) awarded a $10,000 grant to support faculty development in new computing technologies in the humanities for our Digital Arts and Humanities minor.

Fundraising Events

Bring your employees together at our annual gala, golf and sporting clays outings. Social activities outside of the office encourage personal engagement and provide networking opportunities for your staff, which can lead to new perspectives and creative solutions for your business. In addition, your participation will raise money for scholarships, academic programming and other student needs.

Internships, Careers and Mentorship

Visit our Office of Career Pathways to learn how we work with companies throughout New York and beyond to assist with employment needs and mentorship initiatives.
