Yanir Maidenberg

Chemical Engineering

Professor Maidenberg has completed his thesis on the directed self-assembly of polymer-decorated nanoparticles under the advisement of Dr. Jeffrey Koberstein at Columbia University. This fruitfuil research has led to multiple peer-reviewed articles in Langmuir magazine and he continuously looks to expound upon this topic. Upon completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Maidenberg joined Unilever as a senior research scientist and he has worked on numerous Dove-related formulations.

In 2014, Professor Maidenberg joined the Department of Chemical Engineering and has since taught many of the undergraduate and graduate courses. He has been working on revising many laboratory modules throughout the curriculum and has infused nanotechology, surface science, and polymer technology into the upper level graduate elective courses.
