Br. Timothy Murphy

Director of the Christian Brothers Center

Before coming to Manhattan College, Br. Timothy was a counselor at St. Raymond High School for Boys in the Bronx. He also served as a counselor at the St. Raymond Parish Family Outreach Program (1993-2003). Prior to that, Br. Timothy was a counselor at Tides Family Services outreach program in West Warwick, RI (1989-1993). He also served as director of off-campus programs at La Salle School in Albany, NY (1987-89). At La Salle Academy in New York City, Br. Timothy served as assistant principal/dean of students (1981-87) with a two year stint as a counselor (1983-85). From 1964-81, Br. Timothy was at Lincoln Hall, a residential treatment center in Lincolndale, NY where he held a variety of positions including teacher-prefect, supervisor of an on-campus living unit, director of the group home program, assistant principal for guidance services, and associate executive director.
