Roger Ballou

Roger Ballou is an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling and Therapy Department.  His primary research interests are improving effectiveness in couples counseling, strengthening family resilience, and teaching parenting skills appropriate to the contemporary family.  Roger is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Hampshire and New York and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota.  He holds the PhD in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy from Purdue University and MEd in Counseling Psychology from the College of William and Mary.  Roger is also a Diplomate in Adlerian Psychology.  In addition to teaching, Roger has worked as a therapist with individuals, couples, families, and groups in a number of different clinical settings.
