Dr. Fathi is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Manhattan University. She is also a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP) and a LEED Green Associate.
Her research interests include project delivery methods, with a focus on design-build and public-private partnerships (encompassing contract, cost performance, schedule performance, finance, risk, and success). Additionally, she explores decision-making modeling, statistical analysis, structural equation modeling, sustainability, sustainable construction, green buildings, energy efficiency, and engineering education. She serves as a reviewer for several civil engineering and construction management journals and committees. Dr. Fathi is the faculty advisor for the Manhattan University Society of Women Engineers (SWE) group.
