# Transfer Scholarship and Aid

Meet with a Transfer counselor to answer your questions regarding the application process, credit evaluation process, cost of attendance and anything else you would like to know. Schedule an in-person or virtual appointment.

##  Scholarships and Grants 

All accepted transfer students are considered for an academic scholarship. You may be eligible to receive a scholarship if you have exemplary scores in your high school and college coursework. Scholarship award notifications are released starting in March for fall semester applicants and November for spring semester applicants

To be eligible for renewal of your academic scholarship, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 while attending Manhattan University.

Awarded to applicants with extraordinary accomplishments in academics, test scores, leadership, and service. Every accepted student is automatically considered, with no separate application required, and awards renew across four years with a 3.0 GPA.

Need-Based Grants Description: Awarded to students who demonstrate financial need, these mission-related grants are renewed annually and adjusted to your FAFSA. Recipients maintain satisfactory academic progress, full-time enrollment, and file the FAFSA on time each year.

Transfer Admissions

## Financial Aid

To be considered for financial aid, you must be a full-time student and live in the United States. To apply for financial aid, you must submit the [Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)](https://studentaid.gov/) form, which is available on December 1 each year. Eligible New York residents should also apply for the [Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)](https://www.hesc.ny.gov/find-aid/nys-grants-scholarships/tuition-assistance-program-tap).

After we review your FAFSA and credit evaluation, we will prepare a financial aid package and notify you of the award via postal mail.
