Tuition Liability Policies

Students who wish to withdraw from the College must complete the required Manhattan College Withdrawal Form (obtained from their Program Director). The date used for refund/liability purposes will be the date that the form was completed, not the last date of attendance.

Tuition Liability

Refund of the IELP tuition charge and applicable fees only will be made before the start of the program. The orientation fee is nonrefundable. There is no adjustment for Tuition and mandatory fees once classes begin.

Room and Board Liability

Charges will be prorated per calendar week up to 5 weeks, as authorized by Residence Life.

Health Insurance Cost

Please note that as an F-1 student you are not required to have medical insurance. At the international student orientation, F-1 visa holders will be provided with information/websites of several insurance companies that offer policies available for F-1 students. F-1 students are strongly advised to purchase insurance; J-1 students are required to have it. You may request an insurance waiver if you already have medical insurance which will cover you while in the U.S. In order to be granted a waiver, you will need to provide documentation verifying your coverage.
