Manhattan University publishes full-tuition, fees, housing, and meal-plan rates for every program so you can plan with confidence. Beginning Fall 2026, the Jasper Guarantee locks in your undergraduate tuition rate for eight consecutive semesters, ensuring no surprise increases between enrollment and graduation.

### Direct Costs vs. Indirect Costs
Your full cost of attendance has two parts. Direct costs are billed by Manhattan University each semester. Indirect costs are estimates of expenses you will manage yourself. Both are factored into your financial aid award.

### Tips and Payment Plan
Your cost of attendance (COA) less all aid offered on your award letter is the maximum amount that may be borrowed in loans. We encourage you to borrow only what you need.

Graduate Tuition Scholarship ## 10% Graduate Tuition Scholarship
All graduate students are automatically considered for the 10% tuition scholarship at the time of admission into Manhattan University. There is no additional application required to receive this award. This discount will be applied each term as long as the following criteria are met:
- Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher from your undergraduate institution at the time of admission.
- Must remain in good academic standing to maintain the scholarship each semester.
- This scholarship cannot be combined with any other discount. This is not an exhaustive list but includes graduate assistantship awards, graduate education awards, athletic scholarship recipient awards, stipends, honors scholarships, employee reimbursement, dual degree, and seamless or 5th year program students.
- Awards are not finalized until all official transcripts are received and verified.
- Admitted non-matriculated and advanced certificate program students are not eligible.

## Organizational Leadership Payment Policy
The Kakos School of Arts and Sciences payment policy for students pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership has been designed to ensure that students complete the program and earn their degree with their financial obligation to the University satisfied. Payment deadlines for students pursuing a degree in Organizational Leadership are set based on the course structure; therefore, tuition and fees are due one week prior to the start of each Part of Term.

### Recurring Fees
The following fees are charged on a recurring basis.
#### Student Health Insurance
If you have not waived the MC-SHIP health insurance coverage for the Fall & Spring academic year, a charge will be applied to your eBill statement for the health insurance plan. #### Non-Matriculation Fee
This fee is charged each term to students who are not matriculated at Manhattan University.
#### Overcredit Charges
Students who exceed the annual number of credits listed under the current degree requirements in their field of study for their class status will be charged at the per-credit tuition rate for the school in which they are registered. Overcredit charges are assessed each spring semester. Students should contact their academic advisor for questions related to annual enrollment limits. Course requirements are listed in the Manhattan University catalog. Information can also be found online at:

#### Program Fee
This fee is charged each semester to all full-time undergraduate students and is considered a tuition charge incorporated under the Tuition Liability policy. It serves to differentiate programming costs between the three schools of the University.
#### Comprehensive Fee
All students are now assessed a **Comprehensive Fee** that includes a number of University services. The mandatory Comprehensive Fee is a per-term fee. This fee provides students with a variety of services, including the student engagement fee, health center fee, information services fee, including email, wireless connectivity, cloud computing with document sharing, file storage, free printing in computer labs, digital signage, a course management system, and academic and research database access. This fee is non-refundable.
#### Room and Board
Room and Board charges are based on a resident student’s housing and meal plan selection each semester. Charges will vary for housing types, such as single rooms and 12-month housing.
#### Study Abroad/ Away Fee
Students studying through study abroad programs are assessed this fee during the semester away from campus.
#### Transfer Credit Fee
This fee is assessed for matriculated students who have received prior approval from their academic advisor to take a course for credit at another college or university. This fee will be assessed once the transcript has been received, evaluated, and processed for entry on the student's academic record.
#### Information Services Fee
This fee is assessed per term to students in the Professional Studies program per Part of Term during the Fall and Spring semesters and per term for the intersessions. The fee is based on the student's residency status.
This fee provides students with a variety of services, including email, wireless connectivity, cloud computing with document sharing, file storage, free printing in computer labs, digital signage, a course management system, academic and research database access, and newspapers. It is charged each semester.
## One-time, Mandatory Fees
The following fees are charged one-time per occurrence or as noted.
#### Residency Security Deposit/ Dorm Damage Deposit
This deposit type is required of all first-time resident students. It is refundable, less sanctions or damage assessments upon proper withdrawal from housing at the completion of the housing contract period. The deposit payment is held in an external deposit account and released with the authorization of the Residence Life department after satisfaction of the residency contract. If a student has the fee released for any reason, it will be required to be resubmitted prior to securing a housing placement.
## One-time, Other Fees
The following fees are charged one-time per occurrence or as noted.
#### Optional Practical Training Administrative Fee
This one-time fee is due at the time of application submission. The charge is imposed on international students applying for Optional Practical Training (OPT). The fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing the OPT application and maintaining the student's SEVIS record while they are employed under OPT status. This is a separate fee from the USCIS filing fee for the OPT application.
#### Optical Practical Training STEM Extension Administrative Fee
This one-time fee is due at the time of application submission. The charge is imposed on international students applying for STEM Optional Practical Training (OPT). This allows F-1 visa holders with STEM degrees to work in the US for an additional 24 months after their initial OPT period. The fee covers the administrative costs associated with reviewing documents, submitting the necessary paperwork to USCIS, processing the STEM OPT application, and maintaining the student's SEVIS record while they are employed under OPT status. This is a separate fee from the USCIS filing fee for the OPT application.
NOTE:
*2026-27 Tuition and fee rates are effective as of May 1, 2026 (Summer 1) through Spring 2027. The uncertainty of present-day costs makes it necessary for the University to reserve the right to adjust tuition and fees whenever necessary. When applying for admission, students and their families should anticipate future annual increases.*
