Financial Aid & Scholarships

We offer a variety of resources and support to help make study abroad part of your college career, whether you dream of studying business in South Korea for a semester or taking a 10-day trip to Italy as part of a class.

Scholarships can cover a portion or all of your expenses depending on the destination and duration of your program. It’s wise to plan ahead — some application deadlines are a year in advance of travel.

If you have been awarded a scholarship at Manhattan College, a portion of your scholarship money may apply to the Manhattan College semester abroad programs. Full Manhattan College scholarship money will apply to the MICEFA Program in Paris, the LaSalle Barcelona Exchange Program and the Mexico City Exchange Program.

Financial Aid

Federal aid can be used for study abroad as long as the program you attend has been approved for credit by your home institution. State aid is similar. If you are already using financial aid at Manhattan College and you remain registered while participating in a study abroad program, that aid can be applied to your foreign studies.

More Information

More details about specific scholarship options and other information about applying for a study abroad program once you are enrolled at Manhattan College is available on the Inside Manhattan College website.
