Research

If you plan on applying to graduate school or for a fellowship you need to stand out, and a great way to do that is by participating in an undergraduate research experience. The Center for Graduate School and Fellowship Advisement works together with a community of faculty that are dedicated to mentoring students each summer in a number of available research programs.

The School of Health Professions student research projects have included

  • Acute and Chronic Effects of Post-Activation Potentiation (PAP) with Plyometric Training on Vertical Jump Height in Division I Female Athletes
  • The Impact of Racial Battle Fatigue on Students of Color at Predominately White Institutions
  • Understanding the Relationship between Veterans and Pornography Addiction: An Exploration of the Impact on Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Lower Extremity Injuries in Irish Dancing
