About Arnold Air Society
The Arnold Air Society is a professional, honorary, service organization advocating the support of aerospace power. The society was founded in 1947 by ROTC cadets at the University of Cincinnati as an extracurricular organization. Named in honor of General Henry Harley “Hap” Arnold, the organization focuses on training dedicated leaders of character, professional development, and community service. Candidates must complete a rigorous training cycle before becoming members of the organization.
Major William Vincent Holohan Squadron
Our squadron is named after Major William Vincent Holohan, a Manhattan College graduate, and the highest-ranking officer behind enemy lines in Italy during World War II. Our members pride themselves on honoring fallen and currently serving members of the armed forces, training prospective cadets to become strong leaders, and giving back to the local community.
