The Radiological & Health Professions Department offers a multidimensional education that will allow you to make a difference in the fields of allied health, nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy. The department offers several programs:
Nuclear Medicine Technology: This program prepares students for work in nuclear medicine -- primarily a diagnostic imaging technology -- which is used to help diagnose and treat various diseases. This program is offered as a B.S. and also a certificate for students who already have a bachelor’s degree and the appropriate prerequisites.
Radiation Therapy: This program prepares students for work in radiation therapy, which is used to help cure cancer in some patients and ease the pain of others. This program is offered as a B.S. and also a certificate for students who already have a bachelor’s degree and the appropriate prerequisites.
