Spend winter break in Ireland and Northern Ireland exploring the rich musical traditions that have shaped religious and cultural identity across generations. Traveling to Dublin, Derry, Donegal and Limerick, students examine the relationship between Irish music and the Catholic Church through historical, artistic and contemporary lenses.

Guided by Manhattan University faculty, this immersive program uses cities, sacred spaces and local communities as the classroom. Students experience firsthand how music, migration, language and faith intersect within Ireland’s cultural heritage.

## Dates Offered

This is a winter break program.

## Courses and Credits

- RELS 256 / MUSC 260: The Music of the Mass, 3 credits
