Students gain experience in **econometrics, monetary theory, international economics, and environmental and applied economics**, supported by a STEM-designated curriculum, three focused concentrations, and access to a state-of-the-art finance lab in New York City. STEM-Designated Program The Economics B.S. is recognized as a STEM program, qualifying international graduates for the 24-month OPT STEM extension and signaling the program's quantitative rigor. Three Focused Concentrations Choose Quantitative Economics, Applied Economics, or Environmental Economics to align coursework with graduate-school plans, industry interests, or policy work. CFA-Recognized Double Major Path The Economics and Finance double major is part of the CFA Institute University Recognition Program, with curriculum covering approximately 70 percent of the CFA Level I Body of Knowledge. Bloomberg-Equipped Finance Lab Students access 11 Bloomberg Terminals, a real-time stock ticker, Morningstar Direct, and live market data, providing hands-on experience with the same tools used by professional analysts.
