The Digital Media Art program teaches the practice, theory, and history of today's most in-demand digital art fields, including graphic design and animation, 3D modeling, photography, game design, and immersive AR/VR. Working alongside practicing artists in the department's Graphic Arts Labs, you build the portfolio, skills, and real-world experience to make culturally significant work in one of the world's great centers of digital media.

Program Director Dr. Daniel Savoy was awarded the Kress Digital Humanities Fellowship at Villa I Tatti, Harvard University's center for Italian Renaissance studies in Florence, and his digital reconstruction work was featured in the 2025 Milan Triennale exhibition, seen by more than one million visitors.
