Great teachers change lives, igniting curiosity and preparing students of all abilities for academic success. Manhattan University's Education Department prepares undergraduates for New York State certification in childhood education, adolescent education, and special education, including dual certification and a five-year B.S./M.S.Ed. pathways. Faculty mentorship, more than 100 hours of fieldwork beginning in the first year, and student teaching across the diverse schools of the New York City metro area set our students apart.
