# High School Programs

The School of Engineering offers several programs throughout the year that introduce high school students to the field of engineering. Through hands-on labs, faculty instruction, and visits across New York City, students explore the disciplines that shape the built world and discover whether an engineering future is right for them.

## Residential Summer Engineering Program

From August 2 to 8, 2026, high school students interested in engineering are invited to live on campus and learn the fundamentals of chemical, civil, environmental, computer, electrical, and mechanical engineering while exploring New York City. Participants meet industry professionals for career development and take part in hands-on activities in the engineering labs.

The total cost of attendance is $2,500, inclusive of tuition, room and board, all supplies, and events. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is credited toward the cost of attendance. Applications open January 16, 2026 and close February 28, 2026, with acceptances by March 15, 2026 and final registration with deposit due April 15, 2026.

### Eligibility

Students must be currently enrolled in 10th or 11th grade and be 16 years or older at the time they attend the program.
