Aerospace Engineering Concentration

**Learn to design and develop the aircraft and spacecraft of the future, both manned and unmanned.**

Undergraduate students in the aerospace engineering concentration will learn to design and develop both manned and unmanned aircraft and spacecraft. Jobs for aerospace engineers are expected to grow substantially within the next decade, according to [this report](https://www.bls.gov/ooh/architecture-and-engineering/aerospace-engineers.htm) from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

## What Will You Learn?

This five-course concentration covers topics in the:

- Overall design of aircrafts and spacecrafts
- Dynamics of flight
- Design of aerospace structures
- The application of fluid mechanics to aerospace systems.

Undergraduate students in the aerospace concentration must maintain an overall average GPA of 3.0 with no more than two grades lower than a B in any of the concentration courses. Incoming freshmen, transfer and current students may enroll at any time. Any pre-concentration student who, at any time, fails to meet all requirements concurrently may not participate in the concentration.

## Concentration Requirements

Students accepted into the concentration should choose five courses and should choose two of the following Mathematics courses:
