# Accreditation

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of [ABET](https://www.abet.org/) under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical, Computer, Communications, Telecommunication(s), and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.

The Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree program with a major in Computer Engineering is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of [ABET](https://www.abet.org/) under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical, Computer, Communications, Telecommunication(s), and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.

ABET is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization that accredits universities and university programs in the disciplines of applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. ABET accreditation, which is achieved through a peer review process, provides assurance that a university or university program meets the quality standards established by the profession for which the program prepares its students.
