# Accreditation Information

## Mission Statement (JRCERT 4.1)

The mission of the radiation therapy program is to prepare self-directed, reflective, competent, and professional healthcare providers who are committed to upholding the highest standards of healthcare for both themselves and their patients.

## Program Learning Goals

The program learning goals of the radiation therapy program can be found in the course catalog (JRCERT 6.1) and are as follows:

**Goal #1**: Students will be academically competent as entry-level radiation therapists.

**Goal #2**: Students will be clinically competent as entry-level radiation therapists.

**Goal #3**: Students will demonstrate the communication skills of a competent entry-level radiation therapist.

**Goal #4**: Students will develop the critical thinking skills necessary to perform independently within the radiation therapists’ scope of practice.

## Program Effectiveness Data

The program maintains and publishes the following program effectiveness data on an annual basis, in accordance with JRCERT Standard 6.1:

- Five-year average credentialing examination pass rate (first attempt, within six months of graduation)
- Five-year average job placement rate (employment within six months of graduation)
- Annual program completion rate (students completing within 100% of program length)
