# Passport Events | O'Malley School of Business

# Passport Program

The Passport Program is a four-year career development program that gives School of Business students the opportunity and incentive to develop as students and professionals, and to enhance their overall university experience. The objective of the program is to guide students through a successful path toward their desired careers.

The opportunities presented in the program include:

- Invitations to professional and social networking events
- participation in academic and professional conferences and competitions
- volunteer opportunities in the local and global community
- research opportunities
- internship opportunities
- educational travel experiences
- participation in many university programs outside the School of Business

## Organizations

The School of Business Honor Societies and Clubs are centrally integrated within the Passport Program. Students are encouraged to become members and eventually take on leadership roles in one or more of the cocurricular clubs.

The program also organizes many unique special events, such as:

- **School of Business Fall Dinner:** More than 80 alumni and recruiters come to campus to network with students
- **School of Business Innovation Challenge:** Students from all schools across campus present their innovations and compete for cash prizes with alumni and professional entrepreneur judges
- **Fair Trade Fuel:** The Student run business within the O'Malley School of Business hosts 3 holiday sales each year. All goods sold are Fair Trade Certified

## Requirements

Students are required to get a **minimum of 100 points** throughout four years. Those students who remain active in the Passport Program throughout four years of study are **recognized, and receive a commencement cord** to wear at graduation.
