COMM(unity) is the official newsletter of the Communication department at Manhattan College, published during the fall and spring semester of each academic year. It is also produced — in its entirety — by students in the department as an extracurricular activity. And this is as it should be.

Because COMM(unity) is not simply a vehicle for us to inform the larger Manhattan College community about the newsworthy things our department, its students and its faculty are doing, it is also a vehicle to showcase what we teach our students and what they learn: how to write news and information-based articles, how to do professional-quality layout and design work, how to master the programs and software used to create such documents, and how to do all of the above on a deadline.

We invite you to read and applaud their great work!
