# Honor Guard | AFROTC

## Thunderbird Honor Guard

The Thunderbird Honor Guard is the official ceremonial unit of Air Force ROTC Detachment 560 at Manhattan University. Representing the professionalism, discipline and traditions of the United States Air Force, the Honor Guard supports public, civic and military ceremonies throughout New York City and the surrounding region.

Cadets serve as ambassadors of the Air Force by presenting and posting the colors at athletic events, memorial ceremonies, community programs, military observances and other formal occasions. Participation in the Honor Guard develops precision, teamwork, leadership and attention to detail while honoring the traditions of military service.

To request the Thunderbird Honor Guard for an upcoming event, please contact the detachment at afrotc@manhattan.edu.
