Guirguis, Ph.D. Dr. Hany Guirguis was named Dean of the O'Malley School of Business in 2025 after serving as interim dean, capping more than two decades of service to Manhattan University since joining in 2000. A fully tenured professor, he chaired the Department of Economics and Finance from 2010 to 2018 and currently holds the Ambassador Charles A. Gargano Endowed Chair. He has published extensively on real estate finance, macroeconomics, financial modeling, and applied economics, with teaching experience at institutions including Columbia University. As dean, he is focused on strengthening graduate programs, expanding the school's geographic reach, and connecting students to its strong alumni network. Jablokow, Ph.D. Dr. Kathryn Jablokow became Dean of the School of Engineering on August 1, 2025, the first woman to hold the position in the University's history. She joined Manhattan after five years at the National Science Foundation, where she served as Deputy Division Director of the Research, Innovation, Synergies, and Education Division and co-authored the agency's Artificial Intelligence Roadmap. Previously an associate chief academic officer at Penn State, she remains Professor Emerita of engineering design and mechanical engineering and is a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. She brings expertise in AI, engineering design, and research management, with a focus on cutting-edge academic programs and industry partnerships. Since then, she has prioritized undergraduate student research, first-year student success, and instructional best practices for faculty. Under her leadership, the school has launched new programs including a major in game design and production, minors in astronomy and quality science, an online computer science M.S., and five 5-year combined degree programs. She previously served as department chair and professor of biology at Pace University's Dyson College of Arts and Sciences.
