The Manhattan College Counseling Center services are provided at no charge to help students reach their educational goals and work through any personal issues that are causing anxiety or distress. Regular office hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., but eventing appointments are also available by request.
All services of the Counseling Center are confidential. Records maintained in the Counseling Center are separate from college academic records. All staff members in the Counseling Center adhere to professional and ethical standards regarding confidentiality. The limits of confidentiality are discussed with each student at the first session.
The Counseling Center is provisionally accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services, Inc., an Alexandria, Va.-based organization of U.S., Canadian and Australian counseling agencies.
