Peer career advisors, who received rigorous professional training from our office, can come to your office and conduct 1-on-1 meetings to share information about specific services and resources that we offer for faculty and staff.
**Please note that internet/computer access is required to conduct a 1-on-1 meeting with a peer career advisor.
Faculty and staff can request a workshop on various career-related topics. Career counselors will deliver a tailored workshop(s) for your class or student group.
If you receive any requests from employers or alumni who would like to recruit Manhattan College students or alumni, please guide them to JasperLink, our 24/7 job posting board. Also, please feel free to share your employer contacts with the Center for Career Development so that we can invite them to participate in our career fairs, information sessions, company site visit and on-campus recruitment.
Please advise students to participate in our professional training program, Professional Pathway Program, which gives students a competitive edge in the job market.
Students who are unsure of majors and careers can refer to the What Can I Do With This Major resource. For more in-depth, specific career resources by industry, please guide them to our industry resources page and Glassdoor.com company research portal.
We offer 10-minute Quick Question sessions Monday – Thursday from 2:30 – 4pm in Leo 258 and Miguel 500. Students can also make appointments with career counselors for career assessments and counseling appointment. To make an appointment, students can call the office at 718-862-7224.
Please encourage students to participate in the Mentor Program to make connections with Manhattan College alumni and learn about different career opportunities. We also strongly recommend that you encourage students to take part in one or more internship opportunities.
