Engineering Awareness Program introduces high school students to potential careers in engineering. Applications are now being accepted for the summer 2012 program held in July on Manhattan College's campus. 

College will also honor Cardinal with honorary doctorate degree during ceremony. 

Manhattan is the first college in New York City to receive Fair Trade College status for its work in expanding fair trade as part of its commitment to social responsibility.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, Michael Berenbaum, Ph.D., a leading expert on the Holocaust, will present a discussion on Controversies in Memorializing the Holocaust at 7:30 p.m. in Smith Auditorium. 

The Manhattan College basketball programs will host Hoops for Cancer for the Jaspers doubleheader on Jan. 22 at Draddy Gymnasium with proceeds benefiting cancer research.

The Lesson Plan: The Story of the Third Wave will preview at the College on Jan. 30, and the documentary is based on an experiment a high school history teacher conducted in 1967 on fascism.

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) recognized the Manhattan College women's soccer team for their exceptional academic performance in 2011.
