Research & Scholarly Activities

Patrology, especially 5th-6th century North African thought concerning Psalm interpretation. Studies include the use of modern literary theories, especially reception theory and Marxist criticism, to reveal the meanings of texts. Major authors include Fulgentious the Mythographer, Verecundus of Junca, and Fulgentius of Ruspe.
