Encompassing two of the school's oldest and most reputable programs, the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department has grown and adapted to meet the needs of our changing world. One of the largest departments on campus, it offers a wide breadth of courses that address everything from the safety of the city's infrastructure to ensuring everyone has access to clean water. Students learn hands-on in the labs, at internships and on-site at landmark engineering projects across the New York City area.
