The Manhattan College delegation (Evan Amadio, a sophomore majoring in international studies; Amanda Cromwell, a senior majoring in international studies; Irene Entringer Garcia-Blanes, a sophomore majoring in international studies; Mastanna Eraifej, a junior majoring in biology; James Estephan, a senior majoring in international studies; Emily Fritz, a senior majoring in international studies; Jared Hayes, a senior majoring in international studies; Yardley Keshinover, a senior majoring in government; Tim Koch, a junior majoring in government and philosophy; Ian McManus, a senior majoring in international studies; Emily Meehan, a sophomore majoring in international studies; Allyson Oliveras, a senior majoring in international studies; Stephanie Pietras, a junior majoring in international studies; Elvis Sokoli, a sophomore majoring in marketing and management; Ethan Van Ness, a senior majoring in government and religious studies; and Kaitlyn Wilson, a junior majoring in international studies) brought home the Honorary Mention award for representing Ecuador at the National Model United Nations Fall 2012 Conference in Washington, D.C., from Oct. 26-28. The Manhattan group was accompanied by Model UN Program Director Pamela Chasek, Ph.D., professor of government and director of the international studies program.
