Faculty Accomplishments

JoAnne Habenicht, adjunct instructor of radiological health professions, delivered the presidential lecture at the New York State Society of Radiologic Sciences (NYSSRS) conference in Corning, N.Y., on Nov. 3. Following her presentation Radiation Therapy Technology, 101, she was recognized by the organization’s president for her loyal service and contributions to the NYSSRS.

Shawn Ladda, Ph.D., professor of physical education and human performance and chair of the department, presented Celebrating 40 Years of Title IX: How Far Have We Come and Where Do We Still Need to Go on Oct. 29 at William Patterson University in New Jersey.

Student Accomplishments

Helene Lin, a junior majoring in radiation therapy, received the Royce Osborn Minority Student Scholarship this year from the American Society of Radiologic Technology.
