View the accomplishments of the School of Arts faculty during the beginning of the spring semester.
Mehnaz Afridi, Ph.D., director of the Holocaust, Genocide and Interfaith Education Center and assistant professor of religious studies, will serve on the task force at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) in creating and consulting the first curriculum on Teaching the Holocaust in a Multireligious World: Fostering New Conversations. The consultation will be held March 5-6 at the USHMM in Washington, D.C.
In addition, Afridi will present a discussion on Muslim Rescuers of Jews During the Holocaust on Tuesday, March 19 at St. Leo University’s Center of Catholic-Jewish Students and on Wednesday, March 20 at the Franciscan Center of Tampa.
