Manhattan College Offering AP Workshops July 30-Aug. 3

The Advanced Placement Institute of Manhattan College will host its 29th annual advanced placement (AP) summer workshops, July 30-Aug. 3, in conjunction with La Salle University and the Middle States Regional Office of the College Board.

The Advanced Placement Institute of Manhattan College will host its 29th annual advanced placement (AP) summer workshops, July 30-Aug. 3, in conjunction with La Salle University and the Middle States Regional Office of the College Board.

The three-credit courses are designed to offer advanced placement high school teachers a chance to learn the basic structure necessary for teaching an AP course and develop their skills by allowing them to share methods and ideas. The courses being offered include Art History, Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Environmental Science, European History, French Language and Culture, German Language and Culture, Human Geography, Italian Language and Culture, Japanese Language and Culture, Music Theory, Physics B, Psychology, Spanish Language and Culture, Spanish Literature and Culture, Statistics, Studio Art, U.S. History, U.S. Government and Politics, and World History.

To register for an advanced placement course, download a registration form at www.manhattan.edu/ap. Professionals (including alumni and current graduate students) who are affiliated with Manhattan College may also be eligible for a discount. The registration deadline is July 9.
