Jasper Women Recognized for Success In Classroom

Women’s cross country team named a Division I Cross Country All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Jaspers posted a team GPA of 3.19 during the fall semester. 

Once again, the Manhattan College women’s cross country team has been named a Division I Cross Country All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). One of 205 squads honored, the Jaspers posted a team GPA of 3.19 during the fall semester. 

Teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher and have started at least five runners at the NCAA Regional Championships to earn USTFCCCA all-academic status.  Manhattan finished 34th at the NCAA East Regional.

For the second straight year, Alabama posted the highest team GPA in the nation (3.83). The Scholar Team of the Year was NCAA Champion Georgetown, which recorded a team GPA of 3.28. Scholar Team of the Year honors goes to the All-Academic squad that has the best team finish at the NCAA Championships.
