International Career Counselor Will Speak at Manhattan College
Award-winning author Stacie Berdan will offer tips on how to impress international job recruiters
Stacie Berdan, an award-winning author and international career expert, will travel to Manhattan College next month to discuss how to launch a winning strategy in preparation for a global job search.
The lecture will be held Monday, March 11, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Smith Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
During the lecture, Berdan will offer instruction on how to tap into international markets by becoming a global thinker, establishing a global image and leveraging study abroad experiences and foreign language skills.
“Stacie Berdan is a master at her craft, and people who attend this lecture will learn how to change their way of thinking in order to make themselves marketable to overseas employers,” says Nancy Cave, coordinator of the Manhattan College Study Abroad Program.
Berdan has worked in more than 50 countries and continues to counsel companies on global issues. She is the author of Going Abroad: A Woman’s Guide to Fast-Track Career Success and Go Global! Launching an International Career Here or Abroad. She has made guest appearances on several news shows and outlets, including NBC’s Today, NPR’s Marketplace and CNN International.
