Last week, 80 high school guidance counselors from the tri-state area visited Manhattan College’s campus to participate in a one-day professional development day. The event offered guidance counselors insight into Manhattan’s academic programs, admissions requirements, residential life, student activities, athletics and much more.

Brennan O’Donnell, Ph.D., president of Manhattan College, launched the morning sessions with welcoming remarks and background on the College. The rest of the morning allowed guidance counselors to attend three introductory sessions presented by the deans of the schools of arts, business, education, engineering and science.

The afternoon consisted of an enrollment question and answer session, student life panel, campus tours and dessert reception.
