College to Conduct Emergency Drill with FDNY and Con Edison

As part of Manhattan College’s ongoing planning in the event of an emergency situation on campus, the College will conduct a scenario exercise on April 3.

On Thursday, April 3, 2014, Manhattan College will conduct an emergency scenario exercise on campus under the supervision of FDNY Center for Terrorism and Disaster Preparedness and ConEdison Utility Company. The exercise is part of Manhattan College’s ongoing training for the College community in the event of a real life-threatening emergency.

The exercise will begin at 7 p.m. and conclude at 9 p.m., and will include a full closure of Manhattan College Parkway from 6-9 p.m., just north of Waldo Avenue and south of West 244th Street and Waldo Avenue. In addition, please be advised emergency vehicles, such as fire trucks and ambulances may be operating in front of Manhattan College and the Methodist Nursing Home.
