If opposing coaches don’t know of Manhattan freshman forward Emmy Andjuar, they’d better become aware quickly.
Manhattan College in Riverdale, the Bronx, was awarded a Good Neighbor Award from the Methodist Home for Nursing and Rehabilitation at a gala held Oct. 20 at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx.
Manhattan College is hosting “To Whom I May Concern,” a play performed by people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease. The performance runs Thursday from 12:20 p.m. to 2 p.m., and will be held in Smith Auditorium.
Manhattan College got into the Halloween spirit last week, throwing a party for senior citizens and hosting a trick-or-treating event for local children.
Dr. Mehnaz Afridi, Director of the Holocaust, Genocide and Interfaith Education Center of Manhattan College, will present a free lecture, Remembering Kristallnacht: The Night of Destruction, Memory, and Amnesia, at 11 a.m.
