Research
My research interests are varied. I am involved in the integration of computer algebra systems into the calculus curriculum. I am also interested in fractals and dynamical systems. Finally, I am currently starting research on random walks using the C++ language.
Publications & Professional Activities
- "Mathematical Modelling" was coauthored with Rosemary Farley and appeared in the Proceedings of the Ninth Annual International Conference on Technolgy in Collegiate Mathematics. The conference was held in Reno, Nevada in November, 1996.
- "Integration of Maple into the Calculus Sequence: An Evolving Process" was coauthored with Rosemary Farley and Kathryn Weld and appeared in the Proceedings of the Eleventh Annual Small College Computing Conference which was held at Iona College in October, 1995.
- "Integrating Maple into the Calculus Sequence: A Continuing Process" was coauthored with Rosemary Farley and appeared in the Proceedings of the Eighth Annual Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics. The conference was held in Houston, Texas in November, 1995.
