Residential Communities

Make the transition to living on campus easier by choosing to live with others who share your interests in a residential community. Being part of a residential community connects what you learn in the classroom with your life at home in the residence halls and enriches the friendships you form.

  • The Arches Living & Learning Community

Named for the College's most iconic campus feature, the Arches is Manhattan’s living-learning community for freshmen. As Arches students, you live in Lee Hall and take one class together each semester. Outside of the classroom, you’ll be exposed to different types of culture and service work in New York City. It’s a great introduction to college life, and truly builds community from day one.

The office of Residence Life and the office of Global Engagement have partnered to create a residential community for students who wish to globalize their Manhattan College experience. Global Jaspers live on the eighth floor of Lee Hall along with members of our other learning community.

  • Mi Casa Learning Community

The office of Residence Life and the Multicultural Center have partnered to create a residential community for students who are interested in Hispanic/Latinx culture in New York City and around the world. In this community, students will have opportunities to converse in Spanish and improve their Spanish skills. Mi Casa students live on the eighth floor of Lee Hall along with members of our other learning community.
